“Jefferson Speedway is one of the three Wisconsin tracks I have not won at,” stated Ty Majeski prior to the green flag dropping at the 1/4 mile powerhouse race track. “Slinger, Golden Sands and Jefferson are the three tracks that I need to conquer. Hopefully we can dial it in and get it done for the feature.” Get it done he did. After qualifying with a track record breaking fast time, Ty was inverted to the outside of row 6. He didn’t stay there long as he made his way to the top spot after challenging the 119 of Dalton Zehr for several laps. When the checkered flag dropped, Ty was almost a full straightaway ahead of Zehr with the third place Casey Johnson not far behind. This makes 15 wins for Ty in the ARCA Midwest Tour. Dan Fredrickson currently holds the tours all time record for number of wins at 16. With 16 fast times, the 91 holds the all time record in that category. Ty is throwing his hat in the ring at Golden Sands Speedway on May 29 for the Dick Trickle Memorial race at Golden Sands Speedway. He is hoping to check another track off his list of winless tracks.
