Monumental Weekend for the 91 Team

After an impressive win at Jefferson Speedway on May 27, Ty Majeski was back behind the wheel of the 91 iRacing Ken’s Sports, Le Jeune Bolt, Black Diamond, Lefthander Chassis, Wehrs Machine, Ford Performance car powered by a B&B motor. On May 29th, Majeski qualified with fast time for the second race in two days. The invert had him starting in the 16th position for the 99 lap Dick Trickle Memorial race at Plover Golden Sands Speedway. After battling traffic and several of the numerous cautions throughout the race, Ty found himself in the top spot where he stayed for the final 47 laps of the race. Ty was victorious and presented the winning Trophy to his car owner Brad Mannstedt for sentimental reasons. “I am proud to win this special race for my car owner, Brad Mannstedt,” Exclaimed Ty in the post race interview. ” His dad believed in Dick Trickle and supported him for many years and now I”m honored that Brad believes in me the same way. I appreciate the opportunity to race he and Nancy’s cars.” Nancy Mannstedt is the wife and proud co-car owner of the 91 machine.

Ty’s day started off great with a fast time and a win but it wasn’t over yet. He was asked by Kelly Bires to race the number 1 truck in the Midwest Truck Series. Ty was happy to do so. He raced in that series several years ago for 5 races and won two of them, having a blown engine in one and securing a top 5 in the other two. Ty started the race in the third position. He almost immediately pulled into the top position where he stayed for the duration of the race, winning by a significant margin. “I can’t thank Kelly enough for asking me to jump in this truck! I had a great time and glad I could bring the win home for him,” remarked Majeski. When asked if he would consider jumping in the truck again he replied “I would have to see at the time but I would definitely consider it.”

Ty’s next race is for Cunningham Motorsports in the ARCA Racing Series at Pocono, Philadelphia on June 9. He will then rush back to the midwest where he will race at Marshfield Speedway on June 10 for the ARCA Midwest Tour.
