On June 27, Ty was back in the Chad Bryant ARCA car sponsored by Crestliner Boats. This exciting race was held at Chicagoland speedway. Ty qualified in the second position. Upon the start of the race, he fell back a little but was able to take the lead after the first caution. Majeski won the race at Chicagoland in a dominant fashion. This is the third win in only 5 races for the talented driver. “We were really dialed in” stated Majeski, “I can’t thank Chad, Paul and my crew enough. We definitely had a hot rod and I’m happy to bring home the win for not only the team but for Crestliner Boats!”
July 9 was Ty’s next race. Slinger Nationals is the crown jewel race of the midwest and is held at a 1/4 mile bullring, Ty lead most of the second half of the race. He was challenged on the last 13 laps by Former Winston cup Champion Matt Kenseth. Matt out-muscled him on turn 4 of the last lap, leaving Ty with a second place finish. “I had a great iRacing ford at Slinger tonight. I would have done the exact same thing to him for the Slinger championship!” Majeski said. “It was a fun race!”
On July 11, Ty got fast time at Wisconsin International Raceway. Unfortunately, on lap 8 there was a bad wreck in front of him. He drove up the track, trying to miss the wreck but had a race ending injury.
He will be back to WIR on August 1 for the Blue race. Ty would like to thank his sponsors, iRacing, Crestliner Boats, Ken’s Sports, and Treeo’s for their continued support for the short track program.
