On a long awaited warm Wisconsin day, Ty entered the bullring with a stout field of 35 super late models at Dells Raceway park. He was fastest in practice twice but ended up chasing the set up all day on race day.

Snowball Derby Highlights Talent

5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola Florida was the sight of the 48th running of the Snowball Derby, a premiere 300 lap event. With over 60 of the nations best drivers registered to race, Ty knew he would have his work cut out for him. The team arrived with the confidence of 19 wins and 19 poles behind them.

Fourth place finish for the Blue Race

Last night was the 75 lap finale of the Red White and Blue Series at Wisconsin International Raceway. Ty qualified just 1/1,000 of a second off fast time with Andy Monday setting fast time. He was inverted back to 11th after the roll of the dice. Ty made his way through traffic and sat at 6th at the mandatory caution with 30 laps left to go. He and the eventual series winner Steve Apel raced for the fifth place for several laps, Ty eventually passed him and Jesse Oudenhoven. Ross Kenseth and Casey Johnson were ahead of Ty fighting for third while Lowell Bennett pulled away. Casey Johnson eventually passed Ross but there weren’t enough laps left for any other position changes. Ty ended up in the 4th position with Ross 3rd, Casey 2nd and Lowell with the win.
